Senior Software Engineer - Data Infrastructure

📋 Description

• Contribute to the long-term data/ML roadmap at Plaid
• Lead data infra projects: offline streaming, ETL, lakehouse evolution
• Collaborate with teams across Plaid to define backend roadmaps
• Debug, troubleshoot, and reduce ops burden on Data Platform
• Mentor and grow the data team through leadership

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Proven data infra/platform delivery track record
• Deep expertise in ML infra or data infra (warehouses, Spark)
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and PM skills
• Proficient in coding, testing, and system design
• Leadership and mentoring of engineers; Nice-to-have Databricks, Airflow, AWS EMR
