Senior Software Engineer, Data Infrastructure

📋 Description

• Design and implement high-throughput data pipelines with clear SLOs and telemetry
• Build real-time and batch ingestion infra using Kafka, Flink, and Airflow
• Own analytical data layer: schema design, query performance, and cost optimization across ClickHouse and BigQuery
• Partner with research and product teams to architect data solutions at scale
• Tune data paths to hit p95/p99 latency targets
• Lead IaC and GitOps for data systems to reduce drift

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years building and operating production data infrastructure at scale
• Hands-on with Tier 1 tech: ClickHouse, Kafka, Flink or dbt
• Proven track record for high availability and low latency in streaming/batch workloads
• Strong observability chops: OpenTelemetry, Prometheus/Grafana, Datadog
• Clear written communication and ability to turn ambiguous data requirements into simple, reliable designs
• Kubernetes experience (GKE/EKS/AKS) and multi-cloud exposure
