Senior Software Engineer, Data Infrastructure (RDBMS)

📋 Description

• Develop, operate, and scale highly available relational database infrastructure supporting
• Own query performance, index design, schema optimization, and database tuning for production
• Maintain high availability and performance for customer-facing systems by identifying and resolving
• Use AI-assisted analysis and database profiling tools to identify opportunities for storage
• Build agentic automation for routine database operations, including connection-pool provisioning
• Develop safeguards and automated validation processes to protect data integrity and system

🎯 Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience building and operating production PostgreSQL environments, including
• Deep SQL optimization expertise, including Explain Plans, CTEs, window functions, partitioning
• Strong understanding of relational database architecture, performance tuning, scalability
• Hands-on experience with CDC and replication technologies such as PeerDB, Fivetran, Debezium
• Experience with database profiling and performance analysis tools such as pganalyze or equivalent
• Production automation experience using Python, Go, or comparable programming languages.
