Senior Software Engineer, Data Infrastructure (RDBMS)

📋 Description

• Design petabyte-scale high-performance databases for real-time analytics.
• Build and optimize batch and streaming data pipelines on large datasets.
• Diagnose and tune complex SQL queries under heavy load with product and research teams.
• Own infrastructure initiatives including query optimization, indexing, and storage resilience.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in data engineering or backend with RDBMS depth.
• Experience with database security: access control, encryption, and standards.
• Production-scale PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server experience (TB data, concurrency).
• Strong SQL reasoning: debug, explain, optimize queries.
• Designs and evolves data models for analytics.
• Familiarity with Airflow, DBT, or custom data pipelines.
