Senior Software Engineer, Deploy at Scale

📋 Description

• Provide technical leadership for the platform that powers safe, reliable, and automated deployments
• Set technical direction across multiple work streams
• Operate with significant autonomy—identifying problems to solve and driving architecture decisions
• Influence how dozens of engineering teams think about safe change
• Partner with EM and leadership to shape the multi-quarter roadmap
• Serve as a primary technical voice in cross-team design reviews, RFCs, and incident retrospectives

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
• Track record of owning the architecture of complex, distributed, production-critical systems end to
• Demonstrated technical leadership driving RFCs and design reviews that senior engineers rely on
• Judgment for ambiguity — comfortable defining the problem and roadmap in an environment where
• Deep experience with safety, observability, and automation in production systems
• Experience designing rollback paths, health signals, and guardrails that other systems build on top
