Senior Software Engineer, Developer Experience

📋 Description

• Build platforms for agentic developer workflows using Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor.
• Design and ship self-service surfaces: Backstage portal, CLI, IDE integrations.
• Own and evolve our Cloud Development Environment for humans and AI agents.
• Improve build systems, CI/CD pipelines, test infra, and observability.
• Prototype and evaluate new AI developer tools and scale adoption across teams.

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated experience building developer infrastructure, DevEx, or platform tools at scale (CDE rollouts, internal CLIs, MCP servers, 100+ engineers).
• Strong systems thinking: CI/CD, build environments, test infra as interconnected systems.
• UX mindset applied to engineering systems, personas, journeys, end-to-end workflows.
• Hands-on with agentic tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex; ability to assess limits and scale.
• Fluency in Go and Python for CLIs and services; TypeScript and React for web UIs.
• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
