Design, build, and deliver features for Toast’s payments products
Develop and implement automated test suite to ensure code meets quality standards
Roll out features to customers, including monitoring for success
Collaborate with PM and UX on feature definition and design
Partner with a wide array of Toast teams
Work with experienced engineers to deliver design and code reviews

🎯 Requirements

5+ years of experience designing and implementing robust backend services
Proven ability to develop scalable, secure APIs integrating with various systems
API lifecycle management knowledge: versioning, docs, deprecation
Experience with microservices and containerization for scalability
Experience with DynamoDB or PostgreSQL
Kotlin or Java with Kotlin-based frameworks
