Senior Software Engineer, Flink

📋 Description

• Work with a team of engineers to make Stream Processing easy, reliable, efficient and secure across
• Create the abstractions, modules and libraries to lower the barrier of entry to Stream Processing
• Improve the automation and self-served capabilities that enable our small team to support 1000+
• Weigh in on design questions around platformization, infrastructure, observability and security
• Contribute to the use of Stream Processing across Grab, by evangelizing for our platform and
• Participate in and evolve on-call and incident response procedures for the team.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or information security
• Worked and operated Stream Processing pipelines in production (Flink or Spark Streaming).
• Hands-on competencies with Kafka and programming experience with Scala or Java.
• You are excited to learn and apply new technologies.
• Experience with Kafka Connect, Kubernetes, Go, Gitlab CI, AWS, Terraform, or Linux. (nice-to-have)
