Senior Software Engineer - Front End (Library of Congress)

📋 Description

• Build, enhance, and maintain user-facing applications using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML
• Translate Figma designs into responsive interfaces using federal Design System components and
• Develop and maintain end-to-end UI tests using frameworks such as Selenium and Cypress, supporting
• Ensure frontend implementations comply with WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards in collaboration
• Debug, optimize, and monitor applications across testing and production environments, contributing
• Participate in mandatory peer code reviews and apply the four-eyes principle to all code commits

🎯 Requirements

• At least 7 years of relevant engineering experience and a bachelor's degree, or equivalent
• Proficiency in Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web development
• Experience translating Figma or equivalent design specifications into functional user interfaces
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
• Working knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards
• Experience integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs and published OpenAPI specifications
