Senior Software Engineer, Frontend Platform

📋 Description

• Own Roo's frontend platform, including design system, UI tooling, and architecture for web and
• Lead platform initiatives: framework upgrades, React Native modernization, Expo adoption, and
• Move fast with AI-assisted workflows and ensure scalable, polished product experiences for
• Collaborate with Product and Design to evolve our design system as a foundational platform.
• Improve developer experience with tooling, templates, and documentation to increase velocity.
• Migrate legacy components to v2 design system and enable fast page/flow ship.

🎯 Requirements

• Significant production software experience, especially frontend systems.
• Strong full-stack fundamentals with deep React and TypeScript expertise.
• Experience with React Native or mobile development.
• Collaborative with designers; comfortable with design tools (Figma) and design systems.
• Hands-on AI-assisted development experience (Cursor, Claude or similar).
• Experience tying design systems to prototyping tools and engineering pipelines.
