Senior Software Engineer, Hardware Test

📋 Description

• Serve as technical lead for hardware test frameworks: architecture, standards, roadmap
• Design and build Python-based test frameworks and tooling for module to spacecraft testing
• Write drivers and abstractions for test instruments and ground support equipment
• Architect test results databases and user interfaces for Muon's scale
• Build standard, shared spacecraft-level tests tailored per mission
• Partner with subsystem, bus, and test teams to drive framework adoption and training

🎯 Requirements

• Experience building software to control hardware tests with instrument drivers (VISA/SCPI, serial, CAN)
• B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
• 8+ years of software engineering with demonstrated technical leadership
• Expert-level Python, designing frameworks or libraries used by other teams
• Working knowledge of electronics and lab test equipment
• Experience with databases and building tooling and user interfaces
