Senior Software Engineer I

📋 Description

• Build full-stack applications and features in UNION, owning production from interface to data model
• Collaborate with non-engineers to define and ship software solutions
• Ensure reliability and quality of owned software in production

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years building and operating production software, including backend services and modern web
• Strong Python and TypeScript with experience in React, Next.js, or comparable modern frameworks
• Experience designing and running HTTP APIs with proper timeout, retry, and error handling
• Strong SQL and relational data modeling including schema changes post-production
• Experience shipping LLM-backed features to production with output correctness measurement
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Helm, and Kubernetes for service operation
