Build and maintain integrations with OpenADR, IEEE 2030.5, and related smart grid standards
Develop and maintain our client-facing REST API and backend logic
Integrate with distributed internal services to enable new product capabilities
Ensure proper security and data protection policies and monitoring
Collaborate with product and engineering to improve requirements and quality
Update utility-facing web portal to support new integrations

🎯 Requirements

5+ years of professional software engineering experience
Experience with energy specs: OpenADR, IEEE 2030.5, OCPP
Experience with Java/Spring ecosystem
RESTful web APIs for external clients
Strong software design skills
CI/CD, automated testing, and monitoring (GitHub Actions, DataDog, Sentry)
