Senior Software Engineer I, Applied AI

📋 Description

• Hands-on senior IC role building and operating AI platform services
• Own core services and integrations powering AI experiences for Axon staff
• Collaborate with Corporate AI, Data Engineering, and business teams
• Define patterns for deploying AI-driven apps across cloud environments
• Develop secure connectors to Jira, Quip, Slack, M365, Snowflake, etc.
• Improve reliability, latency, and cost of AI workloads using telemetry

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent
• 4+ years of professional software engineering, production services or platforms
• Strong in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, or Java
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP and cloud-native services
• Web services fundamentals: APIs, auth, observability, CI/CD
• Interest in AI/ML and LLMs (OpenAI, Bedrock, etc.)
