Senior Software Engineer I - Mongo/Aiven KTLO

📋 Description

• Develop the control plane for a cloud DBaaS platform
• Build highly scalable distributed systems at scale
• Build and operate specific database engine controls to provision, destroy, scale, and backup clusters
• Build world class telemetry and logging to provide proactive signals and alerts to both engineering teams and customers if something isn’t right
• Orchestrate complex workflows for various database engines
• Automate and create playbooks for operations related to owning and running database engines that may include minor or major upgrades, security patching, and other maintenance events

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Masters in CS, Eng, or related field
• 5+ years software engineering experience
• Cloud-scale distributed systems experience, esp data/OLTP DBs
• Golang and gRPC experience
• Kubernetes and deployment pipelines (GitHub Actions) knowledge
• Temporal and MongoDB operations experience (preferred)
