Senior Software Engineer II - Action Infrastructure - Action Runtime

📋 Description

• Independently own and ship features in Action Infrastructure from planning to launch.
• Build production-grade agent tools and infra (MCP, schemas, auth, rate limits, observability).
• Create full-stack experiences for builders/operators to discover and monitor agent tools.
• Collaborate with product, design, and UX to make agent-tool workflows clear and efficient.
• Define and improve quality bars using telemetry, evaluations, error analysis, and feedback loops.
• Translate business needs into clear technical designs for multiple teams.

🎯 Requirements

• Senior-level experience designing, building, shipping, and operating production software systems with meaningful reliability, scale, security, or customer impact.
• Production experience with Go, TypeScript, and Python, or deep expertise across two with ability to work across all three.
• Hands-on experience with agent/AI tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar systems.
• Practical familiarity with agent tool design: MCP, tool contracts/schemas, tool selection, model selection, evaluations, observability, and failure analysis.
• Full-stack ownership: backend services and APIs, end-to-end workflows.
• Strong production engineering instincts for cloud systems: SLOs, incident response, monitoring, tracing, capacity, deploy safety, auth, secrets, abuse prevention, and supportability.
