Senior Software Engineer II - Billing Engineering

📋 Description

• Triage: resolve escalated tickets on invoicing, collections, taxes.
• Automate: build tooling to support billing and customer management.
• Operational ownership: manage core billing platform ops, credits, discounts, refunds.
• Development: design and maintain automation tooling for internal billing tasks.
• DevOps: collaborate to ensure platform stability and operational excellence.
• New product launches: own operational aspects for launches with product teams.

🎯 Requirements

• Proficiency in Go; Ruby experience a plus.
• Experience with distributed systems and multi-service deployments.
• Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, gRPC, Kafka, MySQL, Redis.
• Scripting and automation: Python, Shell.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration; able to work independently.
