Senior Software Engineer II, FAI

📋 Description

• Design, build, and operate scalable, low-latency services and data pipelines.
• Own services end-to-end: design, implementation, rollout, observability.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketplace, and Operations to shape roadmaps.
• Partner with ML/DS to productionize models and enable experiments.
• Drive reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency via SLOs and on-call.
• Mentor engineers through code/design reviews and best practices.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years building backend services or distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Go, Java, Python, or Scala.
• Hands-on experience wiring microservices on AWS, GCP, or Azure with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with Kafka or Pub/Sub, Redis, Postgres/MySQL.
• Ownership of production services including observability and on-call.
• Experience delivering in an agile environment with product managers and data scientists.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/SE or related field, or equivalent.
