Senior Software Engineer II, Storage (File & Block)

📋 Description

• Build and operate high-performance, multi-tenant distributed storage (Go/Rust, Kubernetes).
• Deliver components across the file/block stack with senior and staff engineers.
• Improve reliability, durability, and observability with telemetry and dashboards.
• Debug prod issues in distributed systems; ship lasting fixes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with compute, platform, and infra teams.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS, Engineering, or related field.
• 6–10 years building storage/distributed systems or infra services.
• Hands-on with distributed file systems and/or block storage (NFS/POSIX, durability, snapshots).
• Deep IO performance, caching, small-file workloads, and crash resilience.
• Experience with multi-tenant storage control planes: provisioning, tenancy, quota.
• Go proficient; Rust or C++ a plus; Kubernetes controllers/CRDs/CSI.
