Senior Software Engineer in Test, Android

📋 Description

• Define and own the Android test automation strategy and framework architecture for Okta Verify and
• Mentor and technically guide engineers across quality and development teams; write and review
• Establish and drive quality metrics, including test coverage, flakiness rates, and CI pipeline
• Partner with Security to define and execute security and privacy test coverage for Android
• Represent quality in architecture and design reviews for new Okta Verify app and SDK features.
• Define and communicate quality plans for the Android platform and dependency scrum teams.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of software test automation experience for Android mobile applications, with 3+ years of
• Proficiency in developing Android test tools and scripts using Kotlin and Java.
• Experience defining test strategy at a platform or product-area level, leading release testing, and
• Experience building and maintaining Mobile CI/CD pipelines (e.g., CircleCI, GitHub Actions
• Hands-on experience with core Android testing tools and frameworks (Espresso, UI Automator, JUnit
• Experience with collaboration and test management tools like JIRA, Confluence, and XRay.
