Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure Security

📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain secure-by-default frameworks and platforms.
• Engineer core security services: access control, secrets management, and AWS permissions.
• Develop and own the vulnerability remediation platform with tooling for teams.
• Partner with product and infra to architect security controls for cloud networking and compute.
• Partner with product teams to secure projects through design, development, launch, and incidents.
• Influence engineering initiatives via design reviews and security trade-offs.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years in full-time software development with large codebases.
• Experience building platforms, libraries, or core infrastructure.
• Strong interest or experience in security engineering with preventative controls.
• Expertise in programming and computer science fundamentals.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure/services, especially AWS.
• Excellent communication across engineering teams.
• Proactive mindset to identify and eliminate systemic risks.
• Curious about AI tools and emerging tech; willing to learn and apply.
