Senior Software Engineer (Java)

📋 Description

• Design and evolve scalable Java services and RESTful APIs powering core platform.
• Lead design discussions with Architects and PMs to deliver scalable solutions.
• Build resilient integrations with payment providers, partners and data platforms.
• Champion engineering excellence with code reviews, tests, observability and CI/CD.
• Mentor engineers through coaching and knowledge sharing.
• Investigate production issues and improve performance and reliability.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years’ experience building enterprise Java apps (Java 17+, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA).
• Strong OO design and architecture for scalable backend systems.
• Designing RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party services.
• SQL, relational DBs, Git, Maven, CI/CD in Agile environments.
• Collaborative, able to influence decisions and mentor engineers.
• Curious about emerging tech, including AI tools; pragmatic, secure software.
