Senior Software Engineer (Java/Go and GCP/AWS) - Entertainment Industry

📋 Description

• Design, build, and own production-grade backend services that replace capabilities currently
• Lead the design and implementation of a new authentication and identity service, including secure
• Define and implement APIs that support the headless frontend and other digital products.
• Design solutions using REST, GraphQL, and/or gRPC and distributed systems principles.
• Plan and execute service migrations from vendor or legacy platforms with minimal disruption to
• Build and operate cloud-native services across AWS and Google Cloud.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience, with senior-level ownership of production services.
• Strong professional experience with Java and Go, including production experience with both.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Google Cloud, including managed services such as Cloud Run, GKE
• Strong understanding of API design and distributed systems, with experience using REST, GraphQL
• Strong experience with authentication and identity systems, including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SSO, session
• Experience migrating services or capabilities away from a third-party vendor, CMS, or legacy
