Senior Software Engineer, Ledgering

📋 Description

• Design, build, and operate the balance and transaction systems of record for millions of merchants.
• Build settlement orchestration to determine how accounts get paid.
• Develop self-serve ledgering APIs with durable semantics and clear contracts.
• Emit balance and settlement data trusted by downstream finance and reporting teams.
• Design and implement reliable, high-volume distributed transaction-processing systems.
• Lead complex projects end to end and mentor other engineers.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of related experience with a degree; or 6+ years with Master; or PhD with 3+ years.
• Designing/operating distributed, high-throughput, fault-tolerant services.
• Experience building money-movement systems: ledgers, settlement, treasury.
• Proficient in Java, Kotlin, or Go and strong SQL.
• Experience leading complex projects across multiple engineering teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
