Senior Software Engineer - Mainframe

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain Mainframe apps using COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2, VSAM.
• Lead technical work; guide junior team members.
• Handle incidents, service requests, and change requests; agile/waterfall.
• Perform performance tuning of mainframe apps and DB queries.
• Develop technical documentation for knowledge bases and SOPs.
• Align implementations with business needs and requirements.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or IT.
• Extensive mainframe development, support, and maintenance.
• Proficient in COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and VSAM.
• Experience with ServiceNow or Service Manager.
• Familiar with SDLC, version control, and dev tools.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork.
