Senior Software Engineer, Marketing Technology

📋 Description

• Scale the core platform so it stays highly available, low-latency, and observable. You’ll debug
• Build agentic features for Airbnb's autonomous Marketing Growth Engine, contributing primarily to
• Lead projects across the full development lifecycle: technical design, implementation, testing
• Work with Product, Design, Data, Marketing Operations, and other partners to turn marketing goals
• Partner with other engineering teams across Marketing Technology to build integrated systems.
• Help teams across Airbnb onboard to our services by advising them on use cases, guiding

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD, preferably in CS, or equivalent experience
• Expertise in backend systems with large-scale service-oriented architecture
• Experience building agentic systems or LLM-powered applications
• Proficiency in one or more modern languages such as Go, Rust, Java, or Kotlin
• Passionate about learning, driving impact, and moving fast without sacrificing quality
