Senior Software Engineer, Marketplace Optimization

📋 Description

• Design, build, and operate backend services powering the real-time marketplace.
• Develop scalable systems enabling rapid experimentation with reliable production services.
• Partner with Product, ML, Capital Markets, and Analytics to solve business problems.
• Build platform capabilities for new marketplace optimization and monetization.
• Improve scalability, observability, and operational excellence of real-time decisions.
• Participate in architecture reviews, tests, and ownership of critical production systems.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building backend or distributed systems.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails, Python, or Kotlin.
• Experience designing APIs and scalable distributed systems.
• Experience operating production services with reliability, monitoring, and tests.
• Experience with AWS and cloud-native development.
