Senior Software Engineer (Orbit Control team)

📋 Description

• Own Orbit Control codebase in Python; ensure robustness and reliability.
• Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain ground segment software for satellites.
• Build and maintain verification and validation for Orbit Control with operations.
• Debug system anomalies; perform root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Improve telemetry processing, visualization, logging, monitoring, and alerting.
• Collaborate with orbital mechanics, mission teams to translate needs into software.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven full software lifecycle experience from design to maintenance.
• Experience with high-reliability operational software systems.
• Root-cause analysis, diagnostics, monitoring, and debugging of distributed systems.
• Ability to evaluate technical options and guide engineering decisions.
• Strong automated testing, CI/CD, observability, and monitoring practices.
• Nice to have: Kubernetes or spacecraft ops/orbital mechanics experience.
