Senior Software Engineer, Perception

📋 Description

• Develop and optimize core perception solutions with DL/ML models for challenging scenarios.
• End-to-end autonomy: object detection, tracking, action recognition, scene understanding.
• Deploy production-ready software on a real-time AV platform using large data sets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose, analyze, and resolve failure modes during on-road and simulated testing.
• Scale ML engineering pipelines for rapid experimentation and large-scale training/testing.

🎯 Requirements

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering, or related field with ML focus.
• 6+ years of research-based or professional experience with C++ and Python.
• Strong foundation in linear algebra, optimization, ML methods, and generative/discriminative models.
• Strong publication record in robotics/vision or significant self-driving tech experience.
• Desirable: PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Desirable: Production-level C++ knowledge and 3D data experience (LiDAR/Radar/point clouds).
