Senior Software Engineer - PerfectScale by DoiT, Romania (Remote)

📋 Description

• Hands-on contributor and architectural leader for PerfectScale backend.
• Design and build large-scale backend services and high-throughput data pipelines (Go).
• Own system design incl. data flow, performance, and resilience.
• Lead major technical initiatives; reduce debt; ensure reliability and scalability SLAs.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and R&D to define the roadmap and mentor juniors.
• Operate in a distributed, cloud-native environment using modern DevOps practices.

🎯 Requirements

• At least 2 to 3 years of commercial Go experience as main language.
• 8-15 years backend engineering experience, with 3+ years architecting high-load systems.
• Backend Stack: distributed systems with Java, Rust, or Python.
• Data Systems: strong experience with Postgres and ClickHouse.
• Cloud-Native: microservices, containers, and DevOps practices (Docker, Kubernetes, GitOps, CI/CD).
• Skills: hands-on coding with architectural leadership; debugging, benchmarking, and performance tuning.
