Senior Software Engineer, Performance

📋 Description

• Join the Performance team to optimize the performance of Nuro’s AV software.
• Build systems and tools for continuous performance analysis and latency/resource efficiency.
• Collaborate with autonomy teams to create an efficient, scalable stack for current and future
• Drive improvements to ensure quick, safe reactions to the world around the vehicle.
• Develop core libraries and APIs to enable high-performance code across teams.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong system fundamentals and proficiency in C++
• Expertise in computer architecture and operating systems
• Experience in highly-concurrent, multi-processor, multi-threaded environments
• Experience with performance optimizations and porting across compute architectures (x86, ARM, GPUs
• Experience with performance profiling tools (perf, VTune, BPF, Nvidia Nsight Systems)
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience
