Senior Software Engineer, Perpetuals

📋 Description

• Own core exchange backend systems for perpetual futures.
• Build and optimize the matching engine; reduce latency.
• Design correctness at scale with queueing and backpressure.
• Build observability: metrics, logs, traces.
• Improve runtime performance: CPU/memory optimization.
• Own production incidents end-to-end and drive fixes.

🎯 Requirements

• Senior backend experience with order-book-based exchange systems
• Low-latency systems: concurrency, lock contention, async correctness, perf profiling
• Experience with matching engines and order state management
• Comfort with Rust or willingness to learn it
• Observability fundamentals: metrics, logs, distributed traces, profiling
• Plus: experience with high-frequency or low-latency trading infrastructure
