Senior Software Engineer, Platform

📋 Description

• Design, build, and support shared platform systems and tooling for SeatGeek services.
• Partner with engineering/product teams to address performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Contribute to reliability, observability, security, and scalability via automation and abstractions.
• Operate production systems, support releases, on-call, and incident response with team guidance.
• Collaborate across teams to reduce friction and improve software build and operation.
• Help evolve internal platforms, APIs, standards, and tooling for reliability and developer experience.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience contributing to the design, development, or operation of shared systems, platforms, or infrastructure.
• Familiarity with building, running, or improving production systems, and an interest in reliability, security, and scalability.
• A thoughtful approach to writing and maintaining code with clarity and maintainability.
• An interest in developer experience and platform usability, including tools and workflows.
• Comfort collaborating across teams, communicating clearly, and turning broad needs into practical solutions.
• A commitment to learning and growth through knowledge sharing, feedback, and continuous improvement.
