Senior Software Engineer - Platform Billing Experience

📋 Description

• Own and improve public and internal billing APIs — focusing on reliability, correctness, and
• Design and build full-stack features in Elastic Cloud consoles, from backend services to billing
• Lead small to medium projects end-to-end — from design to delivery — within the team.
• Contribute to API design decisions: versioning, contracts, and consistency across consumers.
• Improve observability and reliability of billing-facing services through better monitoring
• Participate in code and design reviews. Be a trusted reviewer for your area of the stack.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in backend or full-stack engineering, with solid experience building and maintaining APIs.
• Experience working on customer-facing or developer-facing products at scale.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and how to build for reliability and scale.
• Background in cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) — networking, monitoring, and deployment
• Experience with frontend technologies used in dashboards or console products is a plus (React or
