📋 Description

• Data pipeline ownership: manage throughput, correctness, latency, and cost from AWS IoT Core, Kafka
• API & BFF: evolve GraphQL contracts, design secure, low-latency APIs (GraphQL/REST); keep BFF
• Cost & Performance: reduce infra and observability cost per device, cut latency, remove
• Scale & Reliability: Kafka partitioning, consumer groups, batched writes, backpressure
• Observability: leverage Grafana stack to identify slow queries, monitor pipelines, and maintain
• Safe Change: implement live, staged changes with parallel runs, shadow validation, and rollback to

🎯 Requirements

• Backend & Streaming: 5–10 years building/operating production backend systems with
• Data at Scale: deep Kafka partitioning, consumer groups, rebalancing, ordering/idempotency, schema
• BFF & API design: secure, low-latency GraphQL/REST APIs for web/mobile clients.
• Live Migration: experience with live system migration—parallel writes, shadow validation, staged
• Stack & Cloud: TypeScript/Node.js (NestJS in production), AWS in production—ECS, IoT Core
• Go: knowledge of Go for latency-sensitive paths; ~productive quickly; language experience is a plus.
