Senior Software Engineer - Postgres

📋 Description

• Design and build backend services for ClickHouse Cloud clusters.
• Extend control plane (Ruby, Go, TypeScript) for Postgres capabilities.
• Contribute to PostgreSQL extensions and data plane agents (C/C++/Rust).
• Develop automation and tooling for provisioning, scaling, and lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, SRE, and product teams to ensure reliability.
• Develop APIs and integrations exposing new Postgres features to customers and internal systems.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years in software engineering, ideally with DB/cloud experience.
• Deep Postgres expertise: configuration, extensions, operations, performance tuning.
• Strong programming in Ruby, Go, Rust, C, Python.
• Familiar with cloud infrastructure, APIs, and automation tools (Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD).
• Understanding distributed systems, replication, and service orchestration.
• Pragmatic, detail-oriented, ownership mindset.
