Senior Software Engineer, Privacy

📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain systems that enhance privacy across the organization
• Independently lead large projects from idea to execution
• Advocate for user privacy with engineering teams and escalate concerns
• Write well-crafted, well-tested, readable, maintainable code
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and share knowledge
• Share knowledge via brown bags, tech talks, and promote best practices
• Contribute to controls, testing, and risk remediation solutions
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to enable privacy by design
• Anticipate problems and suggest architectural improvements

🎯 Requirements

• 5-7 years of software engineering experience
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go
• Experience with data systems (DynamoDB, Aurora, Redis, Databricks)
• Scripting languages: Python, Ruby, Bash
• Proficient in SQL, Cypher, MQL, or PL/SQL
• Experience developing distributed systems
• Experience mentoring engineers through code reviews
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools responsibly or privacy-aware AI
