Senior Software Engineer - Production Engineering

📋 Description

• Design and implement CI and test-orchestration services and pipelines for CI/release.
• Build automation (services, CLIs, APIs, scripts) for CI/release onboarding and debugging.
• Define quality gates and signals in CI/release systems (rates, coverage, thresholds).
• Develop metrics, queries, dashboards for CI health; use to drive improvements.
• Integrate observability (metrics, logs, traces, alerts) to reduce MTTD/MTTR.
• Participate in on-call rotations; lead incident triage and root-cause fixes.

• Strong ownership; collaborate across teams/time zones; mentor on CI/release ops.

• 8+ years in software/production/SRE/DevOps; designing and owning backend services; lead multi-team CI/test/release initiatives.
• Strong fundamentals in software engineering and distributed systems; improve reliability and quality.
• Proficiency in Python or Go; strong scripting (Bash, Python) for automation.
• Hands-on CI tooling (Jenkins); pipelines-as-code; Groovy/DSL; multi-job CI workflows; SQL and metrics to improve CI.
