Senior Software Engineer - Python and Data Ecosystem

📋 Description

• Own and evolve ClickHouse's Python connectors and SDKs.
• Build and maintain integrations with Airflow, Dagster, Prefect, and dbt.
• Drive AI/LLM integration for RAG, vector stores, and ML features.
• Engage with open-source community: triage issues and shape the roadmap.
• Collaborate with Product, Cloud, and engineering teams to align priorities.
• Bring practitioner perspective to roadmap decisions for data workflows.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of software development, with Data Engineer/Scientist/ML Engineer experience.
• Proven Python connectors/SDKs for a major platform (orchestration/BI/MLOps).
• Hands-on AI/ML in production data contexts: embeddings, vector search.
• Experience with Python data stack: Pandas, NumPy, Pydantic.
• Strong SQL, data modeling, query optimization; OLAP knowledge.
• Experience with concurrent Python: threading, multiprocessing, async.
