Senior Software Engineer - Python and Data Ecosystem

📋 Description

• Own and evolve ClickHouse's Python connector and SDK ecosystem.
• Build and maintain integrations with Airflow, Dagster, Prefect, and dbt.
• Drive AI/LLM integration for RAG, ML pipelines, and LLM apps.
• Engage with the open-source community to triage issues and shape the roadmap.
• Collaborate with Product, Cloud, and engineering teams on priorities.
• Provide practitioner perspective on data workflows to guide prioritization.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years software development; data engineer/scientist/ML engineer exp.
• Proven Python connectors/SDKs/integrations for major platforms.
• AI/ML in production data contexts: embeddings, vector search, pipelines.
• Strong Python data stack: Pandas, NumPy, Pydantic.
• SQL, data modeling, query optimization; OLAP databases.
• Concurrency in Python: threading, multiprocessing, async.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; cross-team collaboration.
