Senior Software Engineer - Python and Data Ecosystem

📋 Description

• Own and evolve ClickHouse's Python connector and SDK ecosystem.
• Build and maintain integrations with Airflow, Dagster, Prefect and dbt.
• Drive AI/LLM integration strategy for RAG architectures and ML pipelines.
• Engage with the open-source community: triage issues and support users.
• Collaborate with Product, Cloud, and other engineering teams to align priorities.
• Bring a practitioner’s perspective to roadmap decisions for data workflows.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years software development; data engineer/scientist/ML engineer.
• Production-grade Python connectors/SDKs for major platforms (orchestration/BI).
• Hands-on AI/ML in production data contexts: embeddings, vector search, features.
• Python data stack: Pandas, NumPy, Pydantic.
• SQL, data modeling, query optimization; OLAP/analytical DBs.
• Concurrent Python: threading, multiprocessing, async.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; cross-team/open-source collaboration.
