Senior Software Engineer (Ruby/RoR, Low-Code Apps)

📋 Description

• Build complex Ruby on Rails applications.
• Build server-side infrastructure for the Workato UI.
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Write well-designed, testable, efficient code.
• Evaluate and propose improvements to the existing system.
• Support ongoing improvements by evaluating alternatives for architecture.

🎯 Requirements

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
• 7+ years of experience developing, shipping and maintaining Rails applications.
• Strong knowledge of Ruby.
• Excellent debugging, analytical, problem-solving, and social skills.
• Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming and design.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Redis-based / Memcached caching.
• Contributions to open-source projects are a plus.
