Senior Software Engineer, Safety Foundation

📋 Description

• Architect and build Roblox Safety Platform infrastructure.
• Design and implement the developer experience to integrate safety features.
• Own projects end-to-end from concept to deployment.
• Collaborate with Trust & Safety ML, User Safety, Safety Ops, and product teams.
• Ensure high reliability and scalable safety systems for 100M+ DAU.
• Align safety capabilities with product roadmap and developer workflows.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years building and operating backend services and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Go (Go strongly preferred) or similar compiled language.
• Experience designing developer platforms.
• Experience with CQRS, Event Sourcing, NoSQL (e.g., Cassandra, DynamoDB) is a plus.
• BA/BS in CS, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
