Senior Software Engineer - Search

📋 Description

• Build search infrastructure and entity resolution for Hinge Select
• Architect geospatial search capabilities for scalable MSK care
• Work at the intersection of search infra, data quality, and healthcare
• Collaborate with product, design, and data engineering teams
• Improve relevance and performance for high-traffic lookups
• Maintain code repository and set technical standards for search services

🎯 Requirements

• 3-4 years of full-time software development at scale
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• 3+ years with Elasticsearch or OpenSearch; index design, mapping, queries
• Geospatial search (geo_point/geo_shape) and entity resolution expertise
• Backend languages (Golang, Python, Java) and cloud services (gRPC, Docker/Kubernetes, AWS)
• Mentoring or onboarding junior engineers (preferred)
