Senior Software Engineer — Secure Mission Systems

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and integrate new software capabilities.
• Build and maintain secure CI/CD workflows with GitLab and related systems.
• Support containerized deployment via OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Apply secure SDLC practices throughout delivery.
• Integrate AI models with LLM assistants, RAG, and agents.
• Develop unit, integration, and system-level tests.
• Use automated security tools such as Fortify, JFrog Xray, and OWASP ZAP.
• Investigate vulnerabilities and support cybersecurity remediation.
• Participate in code reviews and solution-design discussions.
• Create software-design documents, sequence diagrams, workflows, and test reports.
• Communicate progress, blockers, risks, and schedule concerns to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with customer tech leads in remote and onsite settings.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• 10+ years of professional software-engineering experience
• Hands-on CI/CD, Kubernetes, GitLab, and OpenShift
• Strong understanding of secure SDLC practices
• Familiarity with Fortify, JFrog Xray, or comparable security-scanning tools
• Background integrating AI models or AI-enabled capabilities into applications
• Develop automated unit and integration tests
• Clear technical documentation and stakeholder communication
