Senior Software Engineer, Security Development

📋 Description

• Design and maintain secure-by-default frameworks and libraries.
• Improve core security services, including access control and secrets management.
• Develop and own the platform for vulnerability remediation tooling.
• Partner with product and infra to implement foundational security controls.
• Partner with product teams to secure projects across design, dev, launch, and incidents.
• Influence engineering initiatives through design reviews and security trade-offs.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of full-time software development with large codebases.
• Experience building platforms, libraries, or core infrastructure.
• Interest or experience in security engineering with preventative controls.
• Strong programming and computer science fundamentals.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure/services, especially AWS.
• Excellent communication for cross-team collaboration.
• Proactive mindset to identify and eliminate systemic risks.
• Curious about AI tools and emerging tech; willing to apply them.
