Senior Software Engineer, Shopper Data Platform

📋 Description

• Design, build, and evolve high-scale backend systems responsible for the ingestion, processing
• Own complex engineering projects end-to-end, translating product and business requirements into
• Develop and improve APIs, streaming pipelines, and platform capabilities that enable teams across
• Improve the scalability, reliability, data quality, observability, and performance of systems
• Partner with product, data, and ML teams to deliver user attributes and data capabilities
• Contribute to technical design and engineering standards through design reviews, thoughtful

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, with experience designing and operating
• Strong experience with data ingestion, processing, and streaming architectures, including systems
• Strong programming and software-design skills in Java or similar backend languages, with a solid
• A track record of owning complex technical projects end-to-end, from design and implementation
• Strong problem-solving and technical judgment, with the ability to evaluate tradeoffs, identify
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across teams, mentoring
