Senior Software Engineer, SRE / Observability Tooling

📋 Description

• Build SRE/observability tooling and platform for health of services.
• Develop dashboards, alerts, monitors as code; automate them.
• Partner with development teams to ensure production readiness.
• Create tooling/templates to define and report on SLOs/SLIs.
• Automate observability workflows; reduce toil for engineers.
• Improve incident response tooling and runbooks.

🎯 Requirements

• Expert AWS and Kubernetes (EKS) for observability, networking, auto-scaling.
• Experience with DataDog and Prometheus; metrics, logs, tracing.
• Strong SRE fundamentals: SLOs, error budgets, toil reduction.
• Troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
• Software development in Python or Go; build tools/automation.
• CI/CD design/operation: ArgoCD, Github Actions, Helm.
• Data-driven problem solving and root-cause analysis.
• Ability to use AI tools thoughtfully; maintain ownership of outputs.
