📋 Description

• Lead evolution of core storage engine components, resolving bottlenecks.
• Drive cross-organizational initiatives for observability.
• Collaborate with a globally distributed team on logs and metrics in ES.
• Mentor and act as SME across Elasticsearch areas.
• Triage, resolve, and review issues/PRs with domain experts.
• Write idiomatic modern Java (Elasticsearch is 99.8% Java).

• Excellent verbal and written communication in distributed teams.
