📋 Description

• Lead architectural evolution of core storage engine components and performance bottlenecks.
• Drive observability initiatives across orgs for industry-leading solutions.
• Collaborate with globally distributed teams on Elasticsearch logs and metrics capabilities.
• Improve operations by promoting clean coding, reducing complexity, and architectural clarity.
• Serve as SME on Elasticsearch areas; mentor engineers across the org.
• Work with a global community to triage and review issues and PRs with domain experts.

• Collaborate across functions and teams; transition between projects as priorities shift.
• Work autonomously and drive decisions in distributed teams via asynchronous communication.
• Proven track record of using AI to accelerate development, debug complex systems, and optimize code; owning outcomes.
• Prompt-engineering mindset to leverage AI agents; validate results and recognize limitations.
• Experience with data storage technologies like Elasticsearch, Solr, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Prometheus; understand how they work.
• Strong core Java skills, deep understanding of concurrency primitives; design/optimize data structures.
